Crima Fast Horizontal and Vertical Packaging Machine
CRIMA FAST is a packaging machine similar to flow pack machines, but what differentiates it from the competition is the high production speed and the possibility of packaging a significant quantity of products on a horizontal, vertical and inclined plane.

CRIMA FAST: speed is the added value
This packaging machine is similar to the flow pack machine, but what differentiates it from the competition are the packaging system patented by Lorapack and the high production speed. With CRIMA FAST, in fact, it is possible to package (even in a modified atmosphere) a considerable quantity of products on a horizontal, vertical and inclined plane.
Depending on the size of the product and the thickness of the film, this packaging machine can perform up to 50 strokes per minute.
The rotating body, an unrivaled advantage in packaging
CRIMA FAST is also a patented solution with a rotating body, designed to carry out vertical, horizontal and inclined packaging. An unparalleled advantage, which allows our customers to use a single machine for all types of packaging.
This packaging machine, like the others, allows the choice of automatic or semi-automatic operating system.
The closing and overlock system
A feature that differentiates CRIMA FAST from CRIMA and EASY CRIMA is the overlock closing system. In the first two, in fact, during the process when the two heated spatulas seal the film and a blade cuts it, the product stops at each stage.
In CRIMA FAST, however, the product continues to advance on the translating movement belt, as long as the machine cuts and seals the film. We also have foreseen the possibility of intermittent operation when the customer need it.
Components
CRIMA FAST is made up of the adjustable tunnel (which establishes the width of the bag), the touch control panel, the translating overlock, the bobbin holder and the group with three pairs of sealing wheels (longitudinal sealing group).
The incoming belt (standard), combined with the packaging machine, is removable.
Optional
The optional extras of CRIMA FAST are the devices for gas injection and alcohol spray, the custom-made reel holder (for films with a width greater than 700 millimetres), the device for preheating a second pair of wheels.
Upon request, for all machines we have the crossed-band barrier photocell available for the length of the bag (which can also be installed following assembly): a device that allows the automatic reading of the length of the product.
The equipment available in Lorapack upon customer request are weight pricing machines, volumetric dosers, weight control devices, rotary tables, conveyor belts and clippers.
FAQ
The range of products that can be packaged with the patented Lorapack machines is potentially infinite: meat; fruit and vegetables; bakery and pastry products; technical, textile and hardware products; hobby and do-it-yourself products; picture frames; wooden profiles; home accessories (handles, curtain poles, etc.).
Products can be packaged in bulk or in trays (such as cheese, berries, cherry tomatoes), and even disposable place settings for restaurants and pizzerias (bag with cutlery and paper napkin inside). The maximum dimensions of the product are conditioned only by the size of the film reel you choose to use.
However, it is not recommended to use Lorapack packaging machines to package: fragile materials (glass, ceramic); products containing a lot of liquids (juices, sauces, mozzarella with liquid); very fine powders (flours, yeast, talc)
All heat-sealable films can be used, such as polythene, polypropylene, polyester, laminated films and even biodegradable and compostable materials.
The substantial difference between the two models is the speed, which is much greater in CRIMA FAST. Thanks to the presence of the loading belt, which is standard for this machine, and the translating cutting and sealing jaws, CRIMA FAST is able to increase the speed of packaging, reaching up to 50 packages per minute.
Subsequently, it is sufficient to move the loading belt and CRIMA FAST is able to work with the same degrees of inclination as a traditional CRIMA.
All the machines, with the exception of the EASY CRIMA, are compatible for modified atmosphere packaging, with alcohol or gas.
Given the small size and not very high speed of EASY CRIMA, the addition of modified atmosphere packaging would further slow down the work, and is therefore not recommended.
No, Lorapack machines require very little technical assistance, as they are easy to use. If necessary, it may be sufficient to request technical assistance via telephone.
Naturally, to prevent the machinery from having problems, it is necessary to carry out normal cleaning actions at the end of the production cycle.
Sure! If the environment in which the Lorapack machine is used is humid, or if barrel washing is used, it is possible to request that the machine be made of stainless steel.
For the first few times when you are not yet familiar with it, it takes 5, 6 minutes to change a reel of film. Once you’re familiar with it, it takes about 1 and a half minutes.
The machines use flat sheet films; not single-fold or tubular films.
